Sorry a little bitter about this one), BackBlaze and many others. For this article, I am not reviewing any of these services, but iDrive comes highly recommended. This protects you from hard drive crashes, theft, and disasters. All it takes is you to subscribe to one of these services and download a small program that will upload all your computers important data to the cloud. It’s really that simple and gives you more than peace of mind<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
In this post I am going to try to answer a very important question. How safe is your data? I’m not talking about how secure your data is from prying eyes, although that is also important, I’m referring to the status of your data in the event of a disaster like fire, flood, or theft…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[4],"tags":[10],"class_list":["post-253","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-tips","tag-blog"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/techwithmike.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/253","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/techwithmike.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/techwithmike.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/techwithmike.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/techwithmike.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcomments&post=253"}],"version-history":[{"count":4,"href":"https:\/\/techwithmike.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/253\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":513,"href":"https:\/\/techwithmike.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/253\/revisions\/513"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/techwithmike.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fmedia&parent=253"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/techwithmike.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcategories&post=253"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/techwithmike.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Ftags&post=253"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
